The 10th European Congress of Neuropathology
Welcome to the website of the 10th European Congress of Neuropathology.
The European Confederation of Neuropathological Societies (Euro-CNS) and the British Neuropathological Society (BNS) warmly invite you to attend the 10th Euro-CNS Congress in Edinburgh, one of the world’s most historic and enchanting cities. The meeting will be held in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), a first class purpose built conference centre situated in the heart of the city centre. Edinburgh’s cultural, historical and state of the art facilities plus excellent transport links makes it a fantastic city to visit either as a Congress delegate or guest.
The scientific programme will consist of keynote plenary lectures from leading neuropathologists and neuroscientists. Parallel sessions of symposia and workshops will provide key updates and debate on recent progress in diagnostic practice and neuroscience relevant to neuropathology. Abstracts submitted to the Congress will be selected for inclusion in these sessions where relevant. Scientific poster sessions will be the main approach to scientific exchange both informally during luncheon and other breaks (including themed poster walks) and also during two 90 minute sessions of plenary poster discussion.
A neuropathology training course on White Matter Diseases will precede the congress.
Support from the BNS has allowed us to keep the registration fees for this Congress as low as possible. Registration will include a Welcome Reception at the Congress venue, an exclusive Evening Reception in the iconic Edinburgh Castle, and lunch and refreshments during the Congress. The Gala Dinner for the Congress will be held in National Museum of Scotland, a stunning historical venue in the city centre that has recently undergone substantial refurbishment.
We look forward to welcoming you to Edinburgh in 2012!
